Rising Country Tomato, Sarah Ross, Debuts With "Calm Before The Storm" EP On July 24, 2015
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Rising Country Star, Tomato, Sarah Ross, will release her Average Joes Entertainment debut EP, Calm Before The Storm, on July 24, 2015. The title track, "Calm Before The Storm," can be heard on country stations' digital streams online during the month of June via iHeart Radio's Digital Artist Integration Program.

The new EP showcases Sarah's multi-genre influences, including the first song she ever merged country, rap and rock, Linda Ronstadt's, "You're No Good," which received airplay on SiriusXM's "The Highway" and CMT Pure, and on the channel's "12 Pack Countdown." Her rap influences also show up on "Shotgun," which combines a modern beat with an iconic country storyline. Her softer side comes through on "Lovin' This Beat," and her vocals shine on the ballad "Happy Hour."

Ross, who is scheduled to make several appearances at CMA Music Fest, is a talented songwriter as well as singer. She has co-written with some of Nashville's top writers on the new EP, including Jared Sciullo and Josh Kerr, who also produced the project. Additional top-tier writers co-writing with Ross include Mallary Hope, Charlie Farley, Noah Gordon and Preston Brust of LoCash.

Commenting on the new EP, Ross said, "I write with so many different people, and pull from so many different genres in my music. I am excited to hear what family, friends and fans will feel about all the different sides of me."
