Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl Breaks His Leg On Stage In Sweden
Goteborg, SWEDEN (Top40 Charts) The lead singer of the rock band, the Foo Fighters, gave a new meaning to the phrase "break a leg" after falling off the stage during a concert in Sweden.

Dave Grohl fell and broke his leg during the second song of the set in Gothenburg, but to the surprise of fans he later returned to play the rest of the show with his leg in bandages.

In footage posted online,, he is seen lying on stage as he promises to complete the show. The band continued the concert, playing cover versions whilst Grohl sought medical attention.
He reappeared after an hour to continue the concert, sitting in a chair with his leg bandaged. His band later tweeted a picture of what appears to be an x-ray of his leg, with a clearly visible break.

Fans were quick to respond:
"Breaks foot finishes show," Daniel Unangst wrote on Twitter. "Dave you are more than a rockstar Shows what kind of man you are."

Grohl has long earned a reputation among fans and critics as the Mr Nice Guy of the rock world, despite the dark history behind Nirvana. He frequently campaigns for progressive causes and has spoken out against drug use.

The Foo Fighters are due to play their next concert on Sunday at the Pinkpop festival in the Netherlands. They are also due to play Wembley Stadium in London next weekend, followed by a headline set at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK on 26 June.
