New York, NY (Top40 Charts) In partnership with the Japan Expo, Europe's largest festival of Japanese culture and entertainment, the Japan Day Project, which serves to produce Japanese content for promotion overseas, sponsored KANPAI NIGHT, the Official After Party for Japan Expo, over the course of three days from Thursday, 2 July, through Saturday, 4 July. Turnout at the venue included both those who arrived from Japan Expo on the Japan Day Project's originally designed wrapped bus as well as other fans of all things Japan-related.
This event was jointly planned with ASOBISYSTEM, which has been responsible for disseminating Japan's kawaii culture from Harajuku far and wide, starting with the pop idol, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Performances at the event included those by POCHI, Nishimura Hiyokochan, and SAKI SATO, as well as several DJs. The event was also fortunate to include appearances each night from the famous Japanese performers attending Japan Expo, heightening the excitement of Japan Expo in Paris even higher.
What's more, the Japan Day Project booth at the Japan Expo venue offered a wine-tasting event in collaboration with the popular manga, Kami no Shizuku (Drops of God), which ties in to the current world-wide wine boom, as well as a stamp rally featuring postcards specially drawn for this occasion.

Active as a DJ in venues such as camelot, WAREHOUSE, ageHa, and in roadside guerilla performance venues. She has a DJ technique akin to draining hot water from ramen noodles that is utterly unique in Japan. Her style is to bring smiles to everyone in the booth, from DJ and VJ on down. Has had multiple appearances at large-scale events like SUMMER SONIC OSAKA, the Hibiki
Music Festival, and m-flo BONENKAI.

With a unique air and an inherent fashion sense, she is currently working as a dedicated model for Zipper. She is involved in a wide range of activities, and in addition to participating in various fashion events, she develops collaborative items for apparel brands and appears in promotional videos for various artists. She has begun making her mark as a DJ as a well, working at various venues first within Tokyo, and then throughout Japan, becoming known for her ability to choose songs which you would not associate with her attractive face and figure.
POCHI
Her sudden rise in popularity is due to her pop, unique fashion sense, and her endearing, adorable character. Also known as DJ POCHI, she has worked several club events, and gets the crowds going with her mixes of anime theme songs and pop idol songs. She has performed at Japan Expo before.
