Hein Cooper Gets Real With His First Single 'The Art of Escape"

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Hein Cooper has had a busy six months since the release of his first single 'The Art of Escape'. Hitting playlists around the world including BBC6 (UK), triple j (Aus) and Absolute Radio (UK), the track cemented Cooper as one of the brightest new singer/songwriters in the world, resulting in live performances at The Great Escape, Sound City, Canadian Music Week, an Australian support tour with Ash Grunwald and a forthcoming four-festival European jaunt.

Hein's follow up single 'The Real' is released today showing a more eclectic and electronic side to his musical personality.

Influenced by the sounds of Bon Iver, James Blake and Tim Buckley, Hein recorded 'The Real' with legendary producer Marcus Paquin (Arcade Fire, The National, The Local Natives) and has created a haunting jam sporting a sense of space with a minimalist sensibility mixed with his trademark vulnerable, yet assured vocal performance.
