New York, NY (Top40 Charts) When Dame
Shirley Bassey first saw the male vocal group BLAKE perform on ITV's This Morning eight years ago she, along with millions of viewers, was so smitten that she promptly requested that they perform at her birthday party that same night. Since then the Dame has watched BLAKE at many of their live concerts, including a recent preview of their latest show called 'In Harmony', currently touring the UK now. Quite Great are pleased to announce that they will be taking care of the publicity for the tour.
The Quite Great radio team are thrilled to be working with the modern-classic icons. The radio promotions guys will be promoting the tour dates
September through to October and will on the look out to help find local choirs to join the guys at some of their venues.
It's this brand new show that BLAKE will be bringing to Lancaster this September, at The Grand on the 9th. They will be performing 2 hours of uplifting and emotional music from the pop, classical and musical worlds, which guarantee there 'won't be a dry eye in the house' - OK Magazine. The songs have been curated from 6 albums spanning their 8 year strong career, including their BRIT-Award winning debut album and their latest offering 'In Harmony'. Combined with ad-libbed banter & comedy, live instruments, stunning projected videos and dramatic lighting, BLAKE are assured to thrill anyone with a love of powerful songs and ratpack fun.
BLAKE has an impressive CV of achievements including several number 1's, multi-platinum selling albums, regular appearances on UK television (including 5 shows this last year), three performances in front of the
Queen and various worldwide tours to Asia, America, Russia and Europe. However, it's the constant support from BLAKE's loyal fans that can be attributed to their long lasting success. From performing alongside them on stage in local choirs to funding them through PledgeMusic to create their critically acclaimed 5th album 'In Harmony', BLAKE's fans have been with them every step of the way.

Three guest artists appear on BLAKE's 'In Harmony', including Brit-Award nominee Camilla Kerslake, Number 1 selling classical soprano Rebecca Newman and Filipino superstar Rachelle Ann Go, who recently won a World
Music Award for her role in the new production of Miss Saigon on the West-End in London.
"A stunning concert and one of the entertainment highlights of the year" - The Cornish Guardian
BLAKE are once again searching the UK for talented local choirs to join them on stage as part of their 'In Harmony' tour. Over the last five years the group have been joined by more than 250 local choirs around the UK and overseas, in venues as far apart as Manchester, Moscow and Manila. Choirs simply need to email their latest videos to the BLAKE website and the chosen groups will perform alongside BLAKE on five big ensemble songs, as well as present their own solo song to the audience. Performers in past guest choirs for BLAKE's shows have recently been seen attaining places at prestigious London music colleges and even taking star roles in West End shows.
