Radio Station Brings European Audience American Music Interviews
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The American rock and blues scene has been the recent focus of attention brought about with great interest from across the big pond as radio station, Radio X, is fueling the fire. It is interesting to note that the station targets the international English-speaking population in mainland Europe. This reach includes many Americans who find themselves working and living there. So with that in mind Radio X decided to do a 3-part radio series on the rich musical tapestry that America delivers to the world. Noting this, Paul Heath the CEO of Radio X in Belgium, originally a voice who started his radio presence via a regional BBC station in the UK, began an investigative campaign of sorts into the heart and soul of the American blues and rock artists for his station.

Along his path Paul interviews such notable American artists as Al Staehely, famed lead singer and bassman for the iconic '70s rock group Spirit, veteran New Jersey bluesman Bob Lanza, Memphis blues great and the reigning queen of Beale Street Barbara Blue, famed Red Shack recording engineer Rock Romano, the internationally recognized blues rocker Steve Krase, and in Austin, Texas the one and only Freddie Steady Krc, President of the Texas Musician's Union and Vice President of The Recording Academy - Texas chapter. In addition Paul visits the famous Texas based Mr. Gino's Lounge in Houston, one of the last full functioning juke joints in America, where he interviews Mr. Gino along with Radio Personalities Mr and Mrs V of KPFT radio and Rayford Stephens of the T-Bone Walker Blues Festival.

These extremely educational and entertaining interviews are hosted on the Radio X website within three individual file folders. By simply clicking the links below you can access these interviews on demand.
