LOS ANGELES (Dr.Dre Fans Website) - Rapper Young Buck, known as David Darnell Brown, 23, is wanted as a suspect in a stabbing at hip-hop's Vibe awards, the Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday.
The 23-year-old Nashville-based entertainer is seen on a videotape swinging a knife at parolee Jimmy James Johnson, who suffered a "serious stab wound" to the upper body, police said. Young Buck is a member of the G Unit. That group is one of the top acts in rap and hip-hop, and won a Vibe award Monday for best group.

Brown left the G Unit to record his own album in August. He was being sought for allegedly stabbing Jimmy James Johnson, 26, of Los Angeles, who was last reported in stable condition at a Los Angeles-area hospital.
Chaos broke out during Monday's ceremony at a hangar at Santa Monica Airport after rap pioneer Dr. Dre was apparently punched in the face and the Grammy-winning producer/rapper's bodyguards set upon the attacker.

The Vibe Awards aired November 16 on UPN, but the entire incident was edited out. The only reference to the melee was when Dr. Dre accepted his award - after the fact - and said, "They can't stop me. I don't care."
