Best Drug Rehabilitation Interviews Trailer Choir At "Music With A Mission" Charity Event
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Best Drug Rehabilitation's sponsorship helped cover a good portion of the costs associated with organizing and hosting an event like this, allowing for more proceeds from ticket sales and concessions to be put toward the cause behind the concert.

For the second straight year, Best Drug Rehabilitation returned to the Adams County Fairgrounds in Mendon, IL to sponsor the 2015 "Music With A Mission" benefit concert on May 30th, 2015. The charity event was held with the purpose of raising money to provide financial assistance to the underfunded music education programs in the local school districts on Mendon and its neighboring town, Quincy, IL. Best Drug Rehabilitation's sponsorship helped to cover a good portion of the costs associated with organizing and hosting an event like this, which allowed for more of the proceeds from ticket sales and concessions to be put toward the cause behind the concert.

This year's event was a huge success, drawing several hundred people despite the muddy conditions of the fairgrounds that had resulted from rain over the few days prior to the concert. The show was relocated indoors to the Adams County Fairgrounds "Show Barn" to avoid the less than ideal grounds outside, and hundreds of people came out to join in the festivities. Per Wickstrom, the founder and CEO of Best Drug Rehabilitation, was able to speak with many of the Country-Rock performers that were featured at the "Music With A Mission" concert, which included Avenue Beat, Trailer Choir, Cadillac Three, Highway Run, and Madd Hoss Jackson.

"Big Vinny" Hickerson, one half of the duo that makes up Trailer Choir, is one of the main organizers of this event, and has stated that he wanted to find a way to raise funds that took a step away from traditional methods, such as a bake sale or raffle. He and his partner, Marc "Butter" Fortney, were among those artists that took some time before the concert to speak with Wickstrom, discussing the cause behind the concert, as well as the state of addiction in today's society. "I do a lot of motivational speaking," Vinny shared. "One of the biggest things that I talk about is you have to believe in yourself and love yourself as you are if you ever want to be something better than that." A video of the Trailer Choir interview is available for viewing on the Best Drug Rehabilitation YouTube channel.

"The 'Music With A Mission' concert was a great time for everybody involved," Wickstrom commented after the event. "Education is our number one tool in the battle against addiction. By helping to promote arts, education and athletics in our teens and young adults, we are able to help shape them into the strong leaders that we will need tomorrow. It was an honor to be a part of this event."
