HUNITINGTON BEACH, CA. (BLUE CROWN RECORDS) - While night clubs, rock bands, and toys usually don't go together, they do when it's for kids at Christmas. On Wednesday, November 24, 2004, the 5th Annual Chaos for the Kids toy drive will be held at the popular hot-spot Kosmos, in Huntington Beach. This benefit is a unique event - a fun night out for adults, while doing something special for underprivileged kids of Orange County. In lieu of a cover charge, guests are asked to bring an unwrapped toy for the Orangewood Children's Home, to benefit Orange County children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect.

National recording artists 34Below will spark-up the benefit festivities and captivate the crowds with their memorable upbeat, mix of alternative and pop rock sound. Compared to bands like Matchbox Twenty for their catchy melodic songs, or Queen for the strong vocals and lead presence, their influences range from Led Zeppelin to The Beatles, and from U2 to Mott The Hoople.

Twice awarded as 'Best Alternative Rock Band' by the San Diego Music Awards, this enterprising band on the move has performed live with such established artists Sugar Ray, Vertical Horizon, The Calling, Switchfoot, The Pat McGee Band, Five For Fighting, A.J. Croce, and even the highly touted comedian Carrot Top. 34Below's music has been featured on MTV's Road Rules, ESPN's Surfer Magazine Live, and on the soundtracks of surf films such as, Beyond the Boundaries, and Wanted."

'We think this is a great opportunity to involve the community, have a fun night out, and do something special for these kids at Christmas,' says 34Below guitarist Chris James. Also sharing the spotlight with 34Below will be the rock bands Loc Jaw, Brodie Split, and Shotdown.

So round up Spiderman, Barbie, Shrek, Superman, and Strawberry Shortcake, then hop on the 'toy express' to Kosmos on Wednesday, November 24th. Doors open at 8:00 P.M., music starts at 9:00 P.M. (21 and over, Grinch not invited).
