NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - Nearly 3,000 mourners, friends and family gathered at a church in Harlem, New York and they remember rapper ODB (Ol'Dirty Bastard) yesterday. ODB, born Russell Tyrone Jones, collapsed and died in a Manhattan recording studio on Saturday - two days before his 36th birthday.

His daughter Taniqua Jones called him as "a big kid" who enjoyed candy, cooking and spending time with his children. "One thing I know: My father will be missed all around the world."
Another daughter Shaquita wrote a poem for her dad: "My heart is thrashing, my soul is breaking, my father is freed, and now he has awakened."

3,000 mourners remember ODB, among them: Mariah Carey (collaborated on the "Fantasy" remix), Damon Dash (Roc-A-Fella founder) and Wu-Tang Clan members RZA & Method Man.
