New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Longtime Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir represent the cornerstones of the group. They'll be joined by John Mayer and a few others well-rehearsed in the melodies and chords of the legendary group.
The addition of John Mayer has added a new facet to the group that recently performed in a modified variety in front of fans in Chicago and San Francisco in the summer of 2015.
The tour begins with an October 29 stop in Albany, New York. A week later, they will play Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center before a visit to Washington DC the following evening. Massachusetts will be the final East Coast stop before two performances in San Francisco in the final days of December. The abbreviated list of shows will currently conclude with two tour dates in Los Angeles at The Forum in Inglewood on December 30 and New Year's Eve.
The Dead were initially believed to have faded away in 1995 with the departure of Jerry Garcia.
