Prawn Post Recap Video Of Recent Euro/UK Headline Tour; Band's Latest LP 'Kingfisher' Celebrates 1 Year Anniversary With Free Album Download On Bandcamp
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) New Jersey indie rock outfit Prawn recently wrapped a European/UK headline tour with Hindsights and Brightr and have posted a video recap of the trek. The video was shot by Laurie Cottingham at It Was A Wolf Productions.

To celebrate the 1-year anniversary of the band's critically-acclaimed LP 'Kingfisher', Prawn has partnered with Topshelf Records to offer the album for free download all day on Bandcamp. Physical copies of the CD and vinyl are also on sale.

Praise for Prawn:

"The swelling guitars and call-and-response yelps have earned Prawn any number of designations, but they're less beholden to a genre than to a state of mind, or at least an inversion of what Real Estate does; whereas the latter use their gorgeous, ringing guitar patterns and a masterful economy of words to fondly looks back on their hometown, Prawn imagine the impossible vastness of the future and an unknowable, pervasive current sadness..."- Pitchfork

"Prawn has refined its sound, trusting itself to remain softer and subtler, often coming close to bridging the gap between emo and indie the way Death Cab For Cutie did over a decade ago."- AV Club

"...a call-and-response epic that offsets its small-town sadness with starry-eyed ambition."- Spin

"...Prawn have always had a post-rock side, but they've rarely sounded this downright pretty..."- Brooklynvegan

"I still wish all albums sounded like this..." - Big Cheese (9/10)

"Yep, it's awesome" - Rock Sound (8/10)

"The production is superb, the content is crisp, and the record is focused in a way that feels as sharp as a switchblade." - Property Of Zack

"so much more than 'just another emo album'" - Punktastic

"This thing just rips" - Absolute Punk
