NASHVILLE, TN. (Broken Bow Records) - BMI saluted the premier country music songwriters, artists and publishers at its 2004 Country Awards last night (11/8) at the BMI offices on Music Row in Nashville. Both Broken Bow Records recording artists CRAIG MORGAN and SHERRIE AUSTIN received BMI Country Awards for their compositions 'Almost Home' and 'Streets Of Heaven'. Included on Morgan's debut album on Broken Bow Records, I LOVE IT, 'Almost Home' was published by Magic Mustang Music, Inc. and by Triple Shoes Music, and was co-written with Kurt Phillips. Included on Austin's Broken Bow Records album, STREETS OF HEAVEN, 'Streets Of Heaven' was published by Magic Mustang Music, Inc. and Write Em Cowgirl Music, and was co-written by Sherrie Austin with Al Kasha and Paul Duncan. 'It was an exciting night for two of two of Magic Mustang Music's premier songwriters, Craig Morgan and Sherrie Austin, who both received BMI Country Awards given for songs that have reached a high level of popularity and garnered extensive airplay,' comments Larry Shell, VP of Magic Mustang Music, Inc.
