A new Live album by underground metal experimentalists Dog Fashion Disco, entitled 'The City Is Alive Tonight... Live In Baltimore' is slated for release on January 25th, 2005

NEW YORK (Artemis Records) - Artemis Records has announced the signing of underground metal experimentalists Dog Fashion Disco to an exclusive worldwide contract. A new live album, entitled THE CITY IS ALIVE TONIGHT...LIVE IN BALTIMORE" is slated for release on January 25th, 2005.
The album was recorded at Fletcher's in Baltimore, MD on June 14th of this year. In addition to a full-length audio CD, included in the package is a bonus 75-minute DVD of live concert footage.

Hailing from Baltimore, MD, Dog Fashion Disco has created a buzz by years of relentless touring with the likes of Lamb Of God, System Of A Down, Lacuna Coil, Slayer, P.O.D., and many more. After a self-released album in 1999 (THE EMBRYO'S IN BLOOM), the band made their record label debut to critical acclaim with ANARCHISTS OF GOOD TASTE in 2001. The album featured a guest appearance by System Of A Down's Serj Tankian. In 2003, their subsequent album, COMMITTED TO A BRIGHT FUTURE was released.

Hit Parader called Dog Fashion Disco, "a breath of fresh air in the often stagnant rock and roll waters" while Metal Hammer stated that the band is "a most welcome antidote to the corporate rock wank and candy-floss pop vomit of late". Of ANARCHISTS OF GOOD TASTE, Kerrang affirmed it as "the finest debut album of the year". Dog Fashion Disco is Todd Smith, Jasan Stepp, Jeff Siegel, Brian White and Mike Oliver.
