Baroness Is Back....

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) BARONESS is back with its first music since 2012's universally acclaimed double album 'Yellow and Green'! 'Purple' will be the band's first record with its new rhythm section, which now includes Nick Jost and Sebastian Thompson on bass/keys and drums respectively. Produced by BARONESS and Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, MGMT, Tame Impala) at Tarbox Road Studios, in the secluded town of Cassadaga, New York, 'Purple' features ten intense, heavy and sonically captivating songs that are the most fully realized representation yet of BARONESS's intentions as a band.

The record is slated for a December 18 release on the band's newly formed label, Abraxan Hymns, and will also be available on CD and vinyl formats via Relapse Records.
