NASHVILLE, TN. (Webster PR) - Mark Chesnutt, who is one the most recognized voices in traditional Country Music, will kick off the premiere of what will be Country Music's biggest live, in-concert television series to date - Country on the Gulf on Great American Country (GAC).

Country on the Gulf is a series of one-hour concert events filmed especially for GAC television to present today's hottest country music stars and the legends. With his laconic drawl, wry humor and world-class country voice, Mark defined his artistic talents as a country standard during his concert performance at the Grand Casino Hotel in Biloxi.
Performing in front of a live audience, Mark performed some fans favorites ('Bubba Shot The Jukebox,' 'Too Cold At Home,' 'Goin' Through The Big D,' 'Almost Goodbye') and rounded out the show to introduce his new single 'The Lord Loves The Drinkin' Man.'

The debut episode of Country on the Gulf featuring Mark Chesnutt in concert is scheduled to air on December 4, 2004 on GAC.
Joining Mark in the series' first season are LeeAnn Womack, LeAnn Rimes, Trick Pony, Joe Diffie, Restless Heart, Jeff Bates, and Dierks Bentley. (Check GAC listings for show details air dates.) Country on the Gulf is produced by Compass Productions Inc.
