Garth Brooks Tickets At Talking Stick Resort Arena In Phoenix, Arizona On Sale Today
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Garth Brooks continues to announce dates in cities throughout North America as his latest tour steadily builds into one of the largest and most ambitious in country music history. Two shows were recently announced at the Talking Stick Resort Arena (formerly US Airways Center).

The tour began in early September of last year, and recently celebrated its first 12 months after 149 shows. Wait… what? 149 shows in a year? Savvy fans are doing the math, realizing that 149 shows in a 365-day span means that Brooks performed nearly every other night. Yes. This is true. It appears that his unparalleled levels of determination, ambition and talent will allow him to do so for as long as he chooses.

The many shows that have unfolded on this impressive run have typically followed a common progression. Brooks walks on stage and is met with loud and appreciative approval before playing a dozen or so of his most well-known chart-toppers.

His wife Tricia Yearwood takes over for a few songs before Brooks returns to the stage, combining with her for medleys that have been singled out as the highlight of the show by many fans who've seen the action unfold up close. The final hour is a playground for the 50-something musician out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, as he plays his most popular songs to a receptive group.

The Phoenix shows recently announced will take place on Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24. Brooks shows that unfold on weekend nights typically traipse well into the next morning, especially if the crowd encourages the living country music legend to perform an encore or two.
