NEW YORK (Atlantic Records) - Tune in on December 1st to catch soca superstar Rupee making an appearance on BET's 106 and Park at 6 P.M./EST during their World AIDS Day special.

World Aids Day is commemorated around the world on December 1st. It celebrates the progress made in the battle against the epidemic and brings to our attention the challenges remaining with the disease.

'Rap It Up' is BET's call-to-action program dedicated to addressing the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the African American community. Since the launch of the campaign, nearly 1 million people have called the hotline (866-RAP-IT-UP) and over 5,000 have been tested for the disease at 'Rap It Up' events.
