New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Brooks and wife Tricia Yearwood have been crisscrossing the nation over the last 15 months while staging live concerts that showcase their world-class musical talents.
Their set list is wildly ambitious and carefully planned, allowing Brooks to show off many of his songs from the 90s during the first hour or so of the show before he and his wife combine on a few hits. Yearwood then takes the microphone for about 20 minutes to show off her most popular hits before Brooks returns to light the arena up for the final 90 minutes, possibly including an occasional encore or two.
Staging shows in San Diego is a very wise move for the country music legend who is just as passionate about fans in the corners of the nation as he is those in the heartland in the South who helped him rise to prominence in the 1990s.
After having sent his youngest child off to college with all the benefits that come with being the offspring of one of the most popular country music stars ever, the man who was born to perform has been rejuvenated by his true love for the stage, as well as the love from his fans.
As of now, shows are scheduled for November 6 and November 7 at the aforementioned Valley View Casino Center, but there is a realistic chance that Brooks and Yearwood will add more tour dates on this large world tour that has yet to leave US soil wherein the duo rarely visits a city without playing at least a half-dozen shows.
