LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts) Hot off the heels of his Billboard No. 1 Dance Airplay smash 'Redefined,' Australian DJ/songwriter/producer tyDi today released his new single "Tear Me Up" feat. Nash Overstreet (Hot Chelle Rae), available on iTunes and Spotify. "More gold from melodic genius, tyDi," says Austin Kramer of Spotify, Head of Electronic Programming. The track premiered on Yahoo! yesterday, and is from tyDi's upcoming album due out early next year via Robbins Entertainment.

"tyDi 'Redefined' was so successful for us that more than six months later, it still researches Top 3 with very low burn. We expect the same from his follow up single 'Tear Me Up.' He has become a very important artist for BPM." - Geronimo, Senior Director of Programming, SiriusXM, Electronic and Dance Formats.

The pop radio-ready track was written by tyDi and Overstreet, and produced by tyDi. "Tear Me Up's" high tempo, energetic melody blends perfectly with Overstreet's fresh vocals. As Bartel from 103.5 FM KTU says, "The energy in this track is addictive. You put this song on and you'll be driving along the beach with the breeze blowing through your hair. I heard it once, and kept coming back for more."

The classically trained musical mastermind, tyDi aka Tyson Illingworth, has become known for his melodically tuned productions with a pop influence. He is responsible for creating the hit single 'Redefined' feat. Melanie Fontana, which garnered over 2 million Spotify streams and is the most played record on SiriusXM BPM this year. tyDi was ranked Australia's No. 1 DJ two years in a row (the youngest winner of this award), has topped multiple dance charts, been voted in the Top 100 DJ's of the World three years in a row, and won 'Best Break-Through DJ' at the International Dance Music Awards (IDMA). The Aussie has been touring since 2004 throughout Europe, the U.S., Canada, Asia, Australia, and more, and has played some of the highest profile festivals to crowds as large as 60,000 people.
