About A Skylit Drive:
Great vision, that's what it takes to refuse to rest on previous success and instead focus on what you need to become in the future, which is exactly what Lodi, California's A Skylit Drive continues to achieve with every album. Bursting onto the scene in 2007 with their first EP, She Watched The Sky, the band set out to make an impression on the world, and they did. ASD continued their successful climb with three full-length albums, Wires and the Concept of Breathing, Adelphia and Identity on Fire, all of which charted on the Billboard Top 200. Along with those releases, the band was also featured on well known compilation CDs like Punk Goes Classic Rock and Punk Goes Pop Vol. 4. After being exposed to millions of people and gaining hundreds of thousands of new fans, ASD released their highly praised album Rise. They went back to the studio to record and release an acoustic re-imagining of the music, Rise: Ascension.
A Skylit Drive has toured extensively with artists like Blessthefall, Sleeping With Sirens, Pierce the Veil and Of Mice & Men. They have also made numerous appearances on both the Vans Warped Tour and The
All Stars Tour.
In 2015 vocalist Michael "Jag" Jagmin, guitarist Nick Miller and bassist/keyboardist Kyle Simmons were joined by new members drummer
Brandon "Rage" Richter and guitarist/screamer Michael Labelle. The new line-up headed to Adelaide Studios in North Carolina to work with "Wires and The Concept of Breathing" producer Kit Walters (Scapegoat, Alesana, He Is Legend) and engineer Neil Engle to record their upcoming self titled album due out on October 9. A Skylit Drive's musical resume consists of 7 albums and extensive touring, this could be enough of a career for most bands, but they have no intention of slowing down. In fact, the band believes they are just about to hit their stride.
