Before its release, Monroe recorded a "live-to-acetate" vinyl of The Blade at Third Man Records, which was then copied, pressed and sent to everyone in attendance. The Blade Tour begins on October 1 at Macon, GA's Cox Capitol Theatre, and will include stops at NYC's Bowery Ballroom on October 27 and Nashville's City Winery on November 20 before wrapping up on November 21 at Birmingham, AL's Workplay Theatre.
