 NEW YORK (AP) - LL Cool J is reportedly set to star in USA Films' Deliver Us From Eva, a romantic comedy that will feature the rapper-actor as a born ladies' man paid $5,000 to go out with a family's meddling sister-in-law. Rising star Gabrielle Union has been cast as Eva, the sister-in-law that LL Cool J's character falls for. LL Cool J and Union are scheduled to start shooting the film in mid-October, according to The Hollywood Reporter. LL Cool J most recently appeared on the big screen in Fox Searchlight's Kingdom Come. His other upcoming film projects including his starring role in Dimension Films' Dolemite, a remake of the 1975 cult classic that starred Rudy Ray Moore in the title role. LL Cool J will also go before the cameras with Lil' Kim and Eddie Griffin in Miramax Films' My Baby's Mama, a comedy co-written by Griffin. One of the LL Cool J projects that didn't make it to the screen this year is Rollerball, an remake of the 1975 cult classic starring James Caan. The Rollerball release has been pushed back to early next year. LL Cool J's other film appearances include roles in Any Given Sunday, Charlie's Angels, and In Too Deep.
