New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ The FADER) Yesterday, award-winning publication The FADER announces a partnership with BitTorrent Bundle, a direct-to-fan publishing platform, to offer its entire 16-year archive of 100 issues to readers for free. This is the first time a magazine archive has been distributed as a BitTorrent Bundle. The FADER's BitTorrent Bundle, titled 'The FADER 100,' is available today and can be downloaded directly at https://bundles.bittorrent.com/bundles/fader-100.

"The FADER has done an excellent job of evolving over the course of its 16-year history," said Jon Cohen, co-founder of The FADER. "We built a great property by breaking the traditional rules of media, and have managed to thrive while many in the music media world have been forced to change course, shrink, or fold. To celebrate The FADER's 100th issue, we have decided to make our entire archive of print issues available for a free download. We want our readers to continue to enjoy and experience The FADER through a broad array of mediums: web, mobile, video, events and print, and we will continue to create new ways to connect our audience with more award-winning content. "

homepage, and click download. The FADER's landmark 100th issue, the largest print edition of The FADER in history, as well as a video featuring commentary from artists including Pharrell Williams, Drake, and various current and former editors and photographers are available for instant download. Once readers enter only an email address, they will unlock the complete archive of issues 1-99, and three bonus videos featuring commentary on how The FADER began, when the publication found its voice, and how Kanye West appeared on the cover—his first magazine cover—in 2003.

"The FADER's 100th issue is a celebration of music and media, and the people and events that changed everything in the years since The FADER was founded in 1999," said Naomi Zeichner, editor-in-chief of The FADER. "To mark this milestone, we're opening up our archives and offering 16 years of historic music reporting and photography to our fans for free. Through this partnership with BitTorrent, we're giving longtime readers the chance to finally complete their collection of The FADER, and new readers will get an opportunity to see where the publication began. Looking back, it's incredible to see that, as much as the magazine has grown and evolved, the core mission has remained the same: to reveal what's next in music and culture, and to celebrate the lifestyle around it all."

As this announcement champions The FADER's print edition, it arrives alongside The FADER's largest digital growth in history, with exponential increases in online and mobile traffic, as well as content production and experiential events. Initially launched as a zine for DJs and industry insiders, today The FADER is a comprehensive guide to global music, style, and culture, and a haven for breakout artists. This is where artists including Kanye West, Drake, The Strokes, Sam Smith, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, and Tame Impala had their first magazine covers. The FADER 100 Bundle announcement arrives on the heels of its 100th issue premiere, featuring extensive interviews and photography with artists and industry icons including Drake, Rihanna, Diplo, Lil B, T-Pain, Rick Rubin, Mark Ronson on working with Amy Winehouse, and more.
