New York, NY (Top40 Charts) German guitarist and songwriter Marc Vanderberg released his new song `Smoking kills - but only love can break your heart` today. The song is available on igroove.ch for 0.69 EUR. "The huge demand in airplays motivated us, so finally we can release the song two weeks earlier", so Vanderberg.
„Stylistically, the new song ´Smoking kills - but only love can break your heart´ is a mix between ´Sisters of Mercy´ and `HIM` with a hint of thundering guitars and a catchy chorus", describes Vanderberg the new song.
For the vocal part, Vanderberg won no other than Austrian singer Chris
Divine of ´Luna Rise´ and Tåve Wanning, lead singer of Swedish renowned rock band `Adrenaline Rush´. „I am absolutely happy about the participation of Chris and Tåve, because both have been my #1 choice for the song. Chris´ and Tåve´s voice sound absolutely fantastic together. While Chris´ voice gives the song in the verse and the chorus the melancholic and powerful touch, Tåve comes up with something sweet, that is the counterpart to Chris´ vocals", so Vanderberg.

Der deutsche Gitarrist und Songwriter Marc Vanderberg veröffentlicht heute seinen neuen Song ´Smoking kills - but only love can break your heart´. Der Song ist auf www.igroove.ch für 0,69 EUR erhältlich. "Die vielen Zusagen seitens der Radiosender haben uns so motiviert, dass wir den Song rund zwei Wochen vor dem angedachten Termin fertigstellen und veröffentlichen konnten", so Vanderberg.
„Stilistisch bewegen wir uns mit ´Smoking kills - but only love can break your heart´ irgendwo zwischen den Sisters of Mercy und HIM mit einer Prise donnernder Gitarren und einem einprägsamen Refrain", beschreibt Vanderberg den neuen Song.
Für den Gesang gewann Vanderberg niemand Geringeren als den Luna Rise Frontman Chris
Divine und die Sängerin Tåve Wanning von der schwedischen Rock Band `Adrenaline Rush`. „Ich bin sehr erfreut, Chris und Tåve für diesen Song gewonnen zu haben. Beide waren meine favorisierte Besetzung für den Gesang. Während Chris´ Stimme dem Song etwas melancholisches und kraftvolles verleiht, ergänzt Tåves Gesangspart den Song mit einer feinen, lieblichen Stimme. Beide Stimmen ergänzen sich perfekt und klingen fantastisch", so Vanderberg.

Ville Valo in Verbrüderung ist der Song dennoch ganz etwas eigenes und im Aufbau Stil und Produktion eine echte Bereicherung in der Radiolandschaft.
