Detroit Rockers Wilson Premiere "Right To Rise" Video
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Detroit's boisterous rockers Wilson have premiered their music video for "Right To Rise" exclusively on VEVO. The anthemic song is off the band's sophomore album Right To Rise (produced by Johnny Andrews), released via Razor & Tie. The album is available on iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon.

The video for "Right To Rise" serves as an ode to Wilson's hometown Detroit. The video features the city's thriving landmarks and residents. The band explains, "When we wrote the song we wanted to tell a story about the area of the world we live in. After traveling so much the past few years we realize the magnifying glass that the media has put on Detroit has damaged not only our city's image but more importantly our peoples' image. We all struggle with life's weight no matter where we live in this world...our peoples' story is not unlike the millions of other people out there put against the wall daily, cast aside as underdogs and thought of as "already dead". It's through the struggle to survive in those conditions that we create our strengths."

"What we've tried to achieve visually is to tell a story thru the POV of a pack of dogs moving thru the blight of our city; the places most identifiable to the rest of the world. The abandoned house the band is performing in starts to crumble as the "underdogs" move from the rubble of our past into the present parts of Detroit's rebuild, showing our people coming together in strength to unite as one. It's a picture of hope and growth through hard work, resilience and ingenuity, while honoring our past as we rise towards our future." The video was produced and directed by Tradesmen Films and Chad Nicefield.

Wilson, Chad Nicefield (vocals), Jason Spencer (guitar), Kyle Landry( guitar), James Lascu (bass), and Matt Puhy (drums) has come a long way since their ballsy 2013 debut album, Full Blast Fuckery. Through grass roots efforts and non-stop touring the band emerged on to the scene with a raucous sound that saw them become a live favorite. Wilson has shared the stage in the U.S. and abroad with everybody from Five Finger Death Punch, Halestorm and Nothing More to Motörhead.

The Detroit Free Press raves, "Wilson's new album looks poised to propel the band onto the wider rock radar".

Wilson is currently wrapping up the hardDrive Live Tour with Trivium and Tremonti (remaining dates below).
