Smith & Wesley Perform At Chattanooga Benefit
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) On Sunday, October 25, Garage Door Records group Smith & Wesley performed songs from their new CD, Choices & Chances, including their current hit single, "Need Somebody Bad," as part of a benefit at AT&T Field in Chattanooga to raise funds for the families of servicemen killed in the deadly attacks on the U.S. Marine base and recruiting center in that city on July 16, as well as Chattanooga Police Department officer Dennis Pedigo, who was wounded in the attack. Sponsors of the show included country station WUSY 101 FM and 103.7 KISS-FM.

The concert, which also featured American Idol runner-up Clark Beckham, was part of an event called "Hucks for Heroes" in which students from nearby Lee University set a new world record for an Ultimate Frisbee game of 90 hours. The participants have submitted the necessary information (forms, video, etc.) to the Guinness Book of World Records to have it certified.

All proceeds will be donated to the 7-16 Freedom Fund by the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga and Officer Pedigo.
