New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Stevie B Wolf releases video for the empowering breakup song, "Alone + Alive" off his EP Alone + Alive, released November 6. The video shows the track's anthemic, fiery theme as expressed by a slew of different characters crying out against ex-lovers in ways that are somehow both intensely personal and universal.

Beneath the veil of infectious and bouncy melodies, "Alone + Alive" simmers with Wolf's individual anger and hurt. The video takes his statements and bestows them upon a range of different individuals. Whether it's a husband burying his heart in a bottle, or a girl abandoned on prom night, each character has experienced heartache and the pain of loss.

"We wanted the video to explore how people with seemingly very little in common all encounter and heartbreak and betrayal; we tried to capture the universally human way in which they respond," says Wolf. "We knew the video would only be as good as the performances of actresses and actors. Luckily, I'm friends with some pretty astounding actors. Each of them brings their own story and energy to the song, making for moments that make you want to laugh, cry, and sing along." As the scenes progress, each character's voice becomes unified with Wolf's impassioned vocal melodies as he screams, "You need someone just to survive/I'd rather be alone and alive." Just as time heals all wounds, the video captures the emergence of each individual's strength in moving on beyond heartbreak to a place where it's better to be "Alone + Alive."

The video was shot in a sterile environment at a studio in Brooklyn, showcasing each character on a pedestal and allowing each actor's individual performance to shine through amidst ethereal smoke and lights. A white and silver saturated Wolf is the recurring image amongst the haze, almost suggesting that he exists in the psyche of each character. "Alone + Alive" is the anthem that swells from within, overflowing in strength. As the video ends, the band sends this cathartic song off as the characters and music fade away.

Praise for

"For all its melancholy themes, like any excellent pop-rock song, it wants you to sing and dance along, and feel liberated while doing so." —KDHX

"'Alone + Alive' is a lighter and catchier take on Wolf's brand of incredibly satisfying pop rock." —Magnet
