New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Brisbane's The Comfort are releasing their brand new single 'Roses' on Tuesday December 1.
The Comfort are a heartfelt, passionate and genuine trio of guys out of Brisbane borne out of punk and hardcore sounds. The track 'Roses' is the first taste of a new sound for the band, who were a 5-piece, but now a slimmed-down band sees their sound taking on a cleaner, big rock sound - soaring vocals, anthemic hooks and choruses that bring the house down.
'Roses' is about being in a relationship where you're both too outwardly focused and not looking at yourself and your present, looking too much at the past and the future.
The single was recorded in early 2014 at Applewood Lane Studios with Joel Adams. Mixed and Mastered in mid 2015 by Sonny Truelove at STL Studios (The Amity Affliction, Young Lions, Prepared Like a Bride).
The Comfort describe themselves as a band from Brisbane trying to create something real and honest in sea of dishonesty where writing songs has become secondary to "being in a band", creating music that makes them feel something and hopefully makes the listener feel something too.
