New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Aspiring Broadway Actor, Conor Tague, with King & I Actor, Kelvin Moon Loh
I want to thank Music Movement for the gift of letting me see The King & I on Broadway and meeting one of the actors, Kelvin Moon Loh. I want to thank you all so much for that gift.

Nonprofit organization, Music Movement, is dedicated to helping children and young adults with Autism and special needs improve their lives through music. Broadway actor, Kelvin Moon Loh, recently gained a great deal of media attention when he spoke out in support of children with Autism attending the theater. Music Movement decided to stand up with Kelvin and enter the debate, encouraging children with Autism to dream just as big as any other child.

In response, Music Movement sponsored a special Night on Broadway for Conor Tague, a teen with Autism interested in the arts.

Conor was chosen from a pool of candidates provided by Actionplay, a NYC-based nonprofit dedicated to providing children, teens and adults on the Autism spectrum equal access to education, arts and culture. Conor is one of Actionplay's biggest Broadway enthusiasts, and not only has promising musical talents, but an extreme passion for musical theater.

The 15-year-old attends a high school for theater arts and is the only student in attendance with Autism. Conor's involvement with Actionplay has allowed him to do what he loves most: perform.

Aaron Feinstein, President & CEO of Actionplay, says, "It's incredible to give Conor the opportunity to learn from a professional Broadway actor because that is exactly what Conor aspires to be. The cool thing about Kelvin is that his sensitivity to children with Autism is helping change the dialogue in which we hopefully will see more folks on the spectrum in the audience and on stage!"

The Night on Broadway for Conor and his family entailed limo transportation, dinner at the iconic Carmine's restaurant, attending The King & I on Broadway, and a backstage tour with King & I actor, Kelvin Moon Loh. Conor Tague shared, "I want to thank Music Movement for the gift of letting me see The King & I on Broadway and meeting one of the actors, Kelvin Moon Loh. I want to thank you all so much for that gift."

Kelvin Moon Loh has recently been in the news for speaking out in support of children with Autism attending the theater and enjoying the arts. His moving statements were met with overwhelming support and positivity, not only throughout the Autism community, but the general public. View Kelvin's full statement.

Kelvin stated, "It was a pleasure to meet Conor and his family. He reminded me a lot of my younger self. He has such a passion for the theater and really that is all you need to sustain a life and career in it. We also had an impromptu duet onstage after the performance. He's a stellar young man with a terrific voice. I expect he might be giving me a backstage tour to his show in the near future."

Stacie Woolf-D'Agostino, Founder & President of Music Movement, is excited to have sponsored this special event. "Music Movement was thrilled to work with Actionplay to provide Conor and his family with a VIP Broadway experience. After learning more about Conor and his family, it is evident that music plays an important role in his life and personal development, and I hope to one day see him perform in Times Square."
