The heavy, hard-hitting, powerful sound of Texas-based Zac The Zombie was unleashed via ReverbNation on January 1st 2016, with the band planning to put out their debut LP in the spring of 2016. The three-track teaser for the upcoming "Zac The Zombie…And The Foul Mouth Crow's" has already catapulted the hard-rock outfit to being the number 2 artist in Texarkana on ReverbNation's charts, and is now available for streaming on the band's ReverNation page.
It is becoming increasingly rare in modern popular music for a band to come forward with such genuine energy and passion whilst maintaining contagious and original melody and musicianship in the modern music landscape. However that is exactly what Zac The Zombie have captured with their latest self-released effort, which has encapsulated the bands' seven-year journey to this point. On 'The Foul Mouth Crows' release, Zac The Zombie have conceptualized their frustration with their roots in 'a town with no culture' with a blend of punk-rock and psychedelic tones. It is the honesty and cathartic nature of the music Zac The Zombie create that makes their sound so unique.
Zac Crye, Mark Runion and Joe Kennedy formed Zac The Zombie off the back of several separate musical projects. These differing backgrounds combined with the bands' 500-mile journey across Texas have only helped to add a distinctive grit and diversity to the music they write. The musical influences that Zac The Zombie have displayed in the tracks released so far are vast and create an exciting mix of classic distorted tones crossed with diverse vocal melodies.
