Tubular Labs Ranks The Top Video Brands And Influencers In December 2015
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Tubular Labs, Inc., the worldwide leader in online video intelligence, today released rankings for the most watched online video creators in December 2015. Creator rankings include publishers, brands and influencers.

Buzzfeed's Tasty is back on top this month with 1B views and 5.6% engagement. The Ellen Show dropped to 4th place with a still strong 617M cross-platform views. Justin Bieber held on to his #2 rank, while news sites, NowThisNews (with 600 million views) and AJ+ (596 million views) both jumped 14 places to claim the #5 and #6 spots. Digital news continues to perform very well on Facebook.

Tubular also released rankings of the Top 25 Video Brand "Viewmakers," the brands generating the most video views online. Red Bull swept past LEGO to take the #1 rank with 220M views. Clash of Titans jumped 18 spots to take the #4 spot. GoPro had the highest engagement rating in the top ten at 2.7%. In the most Watched US TV Brands category, Ellen, WWE and America's Funniest Home Videos stayed strong, maintaining their #1, 2 and 3 spots from last month. Not surprisingly, with the Super Bowl approaching, NFL jumped 7 spots to claim the #7 spot. The James Corden Show posted a high engagement rating of 6.1% with 7 of its top 10 videos including the band One Direction.

Overall
The top 100 video brands and influencers together generated 37.5 billion total cross-platform views in December, up 4% from November 2015.

Facebook
In December, Buzzfeed widens its hold on the top ten - claiming four of the top ten spots on the Facebook Video Rankings (Tasty, Buzzfeed Video, Buzzfeed Food, and Story of My Life). Tastemade also performs well on Facebook, claiming two of the top ten spots (Tastemade and Tastemade Brasil).

Instagram
Justin Bieber fell to the #3 spot this month, giving the #1 spot to the NBA which jumped two places from November.

YouTube
Justin Bieber maintained his #1 spot from last month while Adele dropped to #3. WWE, climbed four places to claim the #2 spot. Children's and Toy content continues to dominate the YouTube rankings with Little Baby Bum, Ryan ToysReview, Baby Big Mouth, and Fun Toyz Collector all in the top ten.
