NEW YORK (Reuters) - English R&B superstar Craig David, Rufus Wainwright, Billy Preston, and Sean Lennon are the latest artists signed on to perform at Come Together: A Night For John Lennon's Words and Music, Dedicated to New York City and Its People, according to the Associated Press.

Those artists join previously reported participants Stone Temple Pilots, Moby, Nelly Furtado, Alanis Morissette, Marc Anthony, Dave Matthews, Cyndi Lauper, Lou Reed, Shelby Lynne, Eurythmics' Dave Stewart (also musical director), and Yolanda Adams. Actor Kevin Spacey will host the festivities.

The show, which was to originally tape on Sept. 20 at Radio City Music Hall, will now be telecast live from that venue on TNT at 8 p.m. on Oct. 2. As a result of the change (due to the recent terrorist attacks), the Isley Brothers have been forced to drop out due to a scheduling conflict.

All proceeds from the soiree will now go to various charities, including the American Red Cross, September 11th Fund, International Association of Fire Fighters, New York Fraternal Order of Police WTC Fund, The National Organization for Victim Assistance, and the Twin Towers Fund, among others.
