Tennessee Indie Rockers The Features Sign To Superior Music Publishing
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Features, whose new album "Sunset Rock" will be released this spring, join Superior Music Publishing's roster which includes Bananarama, Ursula 1000 and Mocean Worker.

Superior Music Publishing is proud to announce that they have signed a worldwide music publishing agreement with Tennessee indie rockers the Features in advance of their forthcoming album, "Sunset Rock."

Superior Music Publishing is a full service boutique music publishing company and joint venture with Modern Works Music Publishing. Writers on the Superior roster include Siobhan Fahey (including hits like Bananarama's "Cruel Summer" and Shakespears Sister's "Stay"), Joaquin Howard (David Guetta's "Listen"), influential DJs Mocean Worker and Ursula 1000, "Shameless" theme song creators the High Strung, legendary garage-rockers The Muffs, up-and-comers Weed, Big Harp, SISTERS, Floating Action and more.

Formed a decade ago in Sparta, TN, the Features quickly became well-known on the national indie rock scene. With releases on Universal and Serpents & Snakes (Kings of Leon's label), the guitar-oriented band has had notable synch licenses in films like "Twilight: Breaking Dawn" and a national TV spot for Ford Mustang. Their upcoming album, "Sunset Rock," takes the band's trademark guitar pop hooks and adds a touch of New Order-ish synths, taking the band in a familiar yet unique direction.

Says Rory Daigle, manager for the Features, "We're excited to be working with Superior Music Publishing. Mara was pivotal to the Features' film and TV licensing while at Bug Music, and we're looking forward to continuing our success."

Mara Schwartz Kuge, President/Founder of Superior Music Publishing, comments, "I couldn't be more thrilled to be reunited with the Features and their team. This band consistently innovates and expands their sound, and 'Sunset Rock' is one of their strongest releases yet."

The Features' forthcoming album, "Sunset Rock," will be released this spring.
