My Brothers And I Hit The Road In Support Of Debut Full-Length

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) We're excited to keep sharing our music with new people and reconnect with the fans we already have, says My Brother And Is front man, David Wurgler regarding the bands upcoming tour in support of Dont Dream Alone, the bands debut full-length, out now on Portland, Oregon-based indie Expunged Records.

Chosen by Amazon as "The Next Big Thing" via their The Next Program, My Brothers And Is Dont Dream has helped establish the band as one of the Northwests premiere alt. pop bands. Comprised of brothers David (lead vocals), Erik (bass/vocals), and Scott Wurgler (drums), as well as childhood friends Jordan Roach (guitar) and Johnny Iliyn (keys/vocals), the quintet brings a wide range of influences to their music, creating sounds that are melodic, soulful, and danceable throughout the eleven-track collection of warm vocal harmonies, luscious grooves, and undeniable hooks.

You can always expect our songs to sound like they do on the album, adds bassist Erik Wurgler on My Brothers And Is live show. We take pride in our live performance. If you've fallen in love with our album, you won't be disappointed when you hear the songs live. You'll just get to experience them in a new way. We'll spice something up here or there but David's voice really is that good, no studio tricks made that voice!

The band will be performing cuts off Dont Dream Alone, a few choice covers, as well as a new song entitled Tell Me, one of the first songs the band ever wrote.

It's got an interesting story behind it, comments Erik. It's one of the first songs we ever wrote, but it's gone through three total face lifts with the style in which we play it. So, even if you think you've heard it before, you haven't heard it like this.

Dream was a blast to make and we are very thankful for all our friends for helping us make that video, says drummer Scott Wurlger. We have two more videos coming out soon. We shot a live sessions for Scars, featuring one of our good friends on cello. It makes an emotional song even more powerful; were very exited for people to see and hear that. We also have another music video coming out for Granted. We don't want to give anything away on that one, but it'll be worth the wait.

The band is now excited to keep sharing their music with new people and reconnect with the fans they already have.
