Seal & Sam Hunt To Perform At Super Bowl 50 Tailgate
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) SEAL and SAM HUNT will headline the Super Bowl 50 NFL Tailgate Party at Levi's Stadium in the San Francisco Bay Area on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016 as the Denver Broncos meet the Carolina Panthers. Coverage of the two performances will be televised as part of CBS's Super Bowl Sunday pregame show THE SUPER BOWL TODAY. The announcement was made by the NFL and CBS.

Since the beginning of his career, London-born multi-platinum singer-songwriter Seal has been focused on a single creative pursuit: expressing the full experience of love through song. An established superstar, with worldwide album sales exceeding 30 million of his eight studio albums, Seal's inimitable voice was first heard on Adamski's 1991 club smash "Killer," followed by his Top 10 hit "Crazy." On the heels of his stunning debut album, he went on to win the prestigious BRIT Award for "Best British Male" in 1992, while hits like "Kiss From a Rose," memorably included in the Batman Forever soundtrack, earned him multiple Grammy awards and global esteem. In November, Seal released his ninth album, 7, which reunites him with his longtime collaborator, the producer Trevor Horn. The artist's focus remains where it's always been, on the many permutations of love. "I just want people to feel," he says. No one is better suited to the task.

Hunt's debut album Montevallo topped the Billboard Country Albums Chart in its first week and it remains the best-selling debut album for a country artist since 2011. The album has so far produced three consecutive No. 1 Platinum-selling singles with "Leave The Night On," "House Party" and the Double-Platinum "Take Your Time," plus Hunt's latest Top 5 Platinum-selling single, "Break Up In A Small Town." The monumental album has spent more than a year in the Top 10 on the country album sales chart nine of those weeks at No. 1. Hunt, who recently earned his first-ever GRAMMY nominations for Best New Artist and Best Country Album, and celebrated his first American Music Award earning the all-genre New Artist of the Year, is also a celebrated songwriter. In addition to all the tracks on Montevallo, his credits include Kenny Chesney's No. 1 "Come Over," Billy Currington's No. 1 "We Are Tonight" and Keith Urban's Top 10 "Cop Car." Hunt sold out his first-ever headlining Lipstick Graffiti Tour within minutes of tickets going on sale. He has also shared the stage with Taylor Swift, joined tours with Lady Antebellum and Luke Bryan, and will be hitting stadiums with Kenny Chesney next spring.

More than 118.5 million viewers in the U.S. watched last year's Super Bowl, the most-watched television program in history. The pregame show and Super Bowl 50 will be broadcast worldwide.
The NFL previously announced that COLDPLAY will headline the Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show. The pregame and halftime shows is an NFL NETWORK PRODUCTION and will be executive produced by RICKY KIRSHNER and directed by HAMISH HAMILTON.
