New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Razor & Tie proudly announces the addition of alternative rockers Holy White Hounds to its label and publishing rosters. Their debut full-length album Sparkle Sparkle will be released on May 6th.
The single will be available for purchase and streaming at all DSPs on Friday February 5th.
Produced by
Brandon Darner (Imagine Dragons,
Radio Moscow, Envy Corps), the record has already seen great radio success with the lead single Switchblade and officially impacts alternative radio today. KIWR/The Rivers Program
Director Sophia John says Switchblade is a "Perfect song for any Alternative station. Lyrically its tongue & cheek, musically its the
Black Keys meets Nirvana. No lie, its that good on the radio!"
We're stoked to announce that we've found a home with Razor & Tie, says Brenton Dean. A lot of people had to take a chance on us for this to happen, a lot of stars had to align, a lot of tarps had to be soaked for this bridge to be built, and we want everyone to know we are sincerely grateful, adds Ambrose Lupercal.
Longtime friends Brenton Dean and Ambrose Lupercal formed Holy White Hounds in 2013. After the release of their self-released debut Oh Mama EP, they joined forces with Seth Luloff and
James Manson to complete the band. Soon after, they were on the road performing with acts including Cage The Elephant, Sick Puppies, Cake, Wavves and Surfer Blood. Holy White Hounds is Brenton Dean (vocals/guitar), Ambrose Lupercal (bass), Seth Luloff (drums) and
James Manson (guitar). The band is managed by
Elias Chios at March Artist Management and touring is handled by Scott Sokol at Pinnacle Entertainment.
With over 40 million units sold, over 20 years in business and multiple Grammy Awards, Razor & Tie is one of the most successful independent music labels and publishing companies in North America. The roster includes a variety of both established and developing artists such as The Pretty Reckless, Starset, All That Remains, The
