New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Bonnie Raitt has added 21 shows to her 2016 North American Tour in support of her twentieth album, 'Dig In Deep' (Feb. 26, Redwing Records). With more than half of her
Spring Tour dates already sold out, Raitt returns to cities across the country where she has long been seen as one of music's great entertainers, including Boston, Philadelphia, Austin, Seattle, and Portland, amongst others.
Raitt is joined by her longtime touring band:
James "Hutch" Hutchinson (bass), Ricky Fataar (drums), and
George Marinelli (guitar), along with Mike Finnigan (keyboards). On-sale information for the new dates will be announced March 3rd with pre-sales and public on-sales unfolding weekly throughout the month.
The first leg of the tour will kick off March 10th at Richmond, VA's Carpenter Theatre. All tour dates are listed at her official website: https://www.bonnieraitt.com. The final leg of Raitt's 2016 Tour will include stops in October and November visiting the following U.S. cities: Phoenix, Albuquerque, Tulsa, Kansas City, Memphis, Atlanta, Knoxville, Charlotte, Charleston, St. Augustine, Ft. Lauderdale, Clearwater, Birmingham, New Orleans, and Austin.
The ten-time GRAMMY winner will perform at the 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards with
Chris Stapleton and Gary Clark Jr., honoring legendary blues artist B.B. King.
Out February 26 in the U.S., 'Dig In Deep' has already received critical praise in the UK. MOJO applauded the album for its "sheer meat-and-two-veg muscle of her funking, boogieing, blues-loving soul" while Classic Rock called 'Dig In Deep' "an emotional excavation."
