New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Soul provider Nigel Halls debut album is out and soaring along with kudos from critics across the country as well as incredible live shows to celebrate the release. With the digital version and vinyl LP currently available, Feel Music Group released it on CD Friday, February 19, 2016. Ladies & Gentlemen Nigel Hall captures the spirit of the songs that made Hall a musician. It was produced by Eric Krasno, guitarist and producer of a dizzying array of artists including Norah Jones, Justin Timberlake, Talib Kweli, Aaron Neville and Matisyahu.

PopMatters, a vaunted pop culture magazine just premiered the fan-sourced new video for Halls first single, Gimme a Sign, on the heels of their praise-filled album review and his appearance on their Best of 2015 list for R&B and Soul.

Hall played on three 2016 Grammy-nominated records from Ledisi, Pretty Lights and Tedeschi Trucks Band; he also performed on Jon Clearys Grammy-winning Go Go Juice. He was also nominated for four Offbeat Magazine's 'Best of the Beat' Awards this year.

Halls original compositions, from the blissful, sunny 60s-style soul grooves of lead single Gimme A Sign and Never Gonna Let You Go to the teasing, R&B kiss of downtempo cuts like Too Sweet and Call On Me show off a record collectors pitch-perfect knowledge and a lifelong fans passion for gritty, muscular rhythm and blues, funky dancefloor rave-ups and sultry bedroom serenades. The album is a proper introduction to Nigel Hall for fans of Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Charles Bradley, Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears, The OJays, and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.

Nigel Hall grew up in Washington, D.C., in a highly musical family. His fingers first touched the keys before he hit kindergarten age, and his ears were wide open. I grew up with records, he said. Thats why Im obsessed. My father had a vast collection. Id be in third grade with my Walkman and everyones listening to Ace of Bass, and Im listening to 'Return to Forever,' Chick Coreas fusion project with Stanley Clarke. The vintage sounds of Ladies & Gentlemen Nigel Hall, infused with his electric freshness, together make both an audible autobiography and Nigel Halls musical mission statement.

I like to sing songs that reflect my being and who I am as a person, he said. Because that really touches me. When you hear a song and it makes you cry, or it makes you happy or it evokes any kind of feeling, that is music. That is what music is supposed to do. And music is the last pure thing we have left on this earth. Its the only pure thing.
