The Hollies Lead Singer, Peter Howarth UK Tour Dates 1/6-2/7
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Peter is The Hollies lead singer, a long time singer and guitarist with Cliff Richard and star of the London West End Show, The Roy Orbison Story.

During 2016, Peter continues to tour the UK as the lead singer with the legendary "Hollies". However, along with his special guest, Michael Armstrong, he is also delighted to be back out on the road with the Peter Howarth solo acoustic show, following its great success over the last few years. Peter has also been busy promoting his latest album "Evermore: Songs of Love and Inspiration"

An intimate solo UNPLUGGED performance and a rare opportunity to experience Peter's amazing vocal talent and superb acoustic guitar arrangements of THE HOLLIES, CLIFF RICHARD and ROY ORBISON hits including:

He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother, The Air That I Breathe, Jennifer Eccles, Devil Woman, Carrie, Pretty Woman, Blue Bayou and many more.

Special guest, the popular singer/songwriter, Michael Armstrong, performs a selection of his own compositions, plus songs by artists who inspire him.

2015 saw the release of Michael Armstrong. Its been a long awaited labour of love but it was certainly worth it. 12 songs of quality and beauty, written with intensely sensitive and intelligent aplomb, alongside 2 very special cover versions. From the autobiographical love song to the wireless The Radio Years, to the tongue-in-cheek country ballad The Innocence Of Men, from the commuter train chaos of Back To Work, to the wry look at immigration Johannesburg, Michaels unique lyrical wit and honesty lift these memorable tunes onto a level rarely heard before.

The release has led to recent appearances on national TV, national and international radio and to sell out shows across the UK. Following on from hugely successful tours during 2015 supporting Leo Sayer, Vonda Shepard, Beverley Craven and The Hollies Peter Howarth, this 2016 UK Tour comes hot on the heels of his January to May expedition supporting iconic 80s band TPau ironically the first band that Michael ever saw live! Now, as he plays alongside them it really is a story that has come full circle.
