Originally from Kazakhstan, Aiym Almas fell in love with music as a child, when her parents brought back albums from traveling abroad. Pop classics like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and
Michael Jackson inspired her musical aspirations, and as she grew so did her love for American rock. Describing the first time she heard Led Zeppelin�s �Since I�ve Been Loving You� as a life-changing moment, Aiym naturally went on to fuse elements of pop and rock in her own music. Driven to create, she began by teaching herself how to play guitar, ukulele, and piano. Aiym then uprooted her life and pursued her dreams in London where she studied music there for several years. She relocated again to Los Angeles in 2013, where she furthered her education at the celebrated Musicians Institute. Collaborating with other artists and producing her own music, Aiym has played an impressive list of venues including, House of Blues, Howl at the Moon, Confession Night Club, as well as numerous venues in London.
