Decyfer Down Releases The Other Side Of Darkness Today Amidst Acclaim
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Following Grammy and Dove Award nominations, a trio of best-selling major label albums and seven chart-topping singles alongside viral videos, Decyfer Down returns today (April 1) with the release of The Other Side Of Darkness through The Fuel Music. The album is available now on iTunes, Amazon.com and many more locations where great music is sold.

After more than a two-year hiatus from recording and touring, the band, collectively Brandon Mills and Chris Clonts (guitars), TJ Harris (vocals/guitar), Benjamin Millhouse (drums) and Chris Furr (bass), is reveling in its newfound freedom as an independent band to write, record, release and perform new music. Making a conscious decision to shatter comfort zones, whether they be artistically or thematically, the band held a no-holds-barred approach to The Other Side Of Darkness.

With HM Magazine premiering the lyric video for the hit single from the album, Nothing More, a fists-in-the-air anthem meant to encourage fans to move forward with God regardless of what might try to stand in the way, the critics are responding in kind:

Whether its fist-pumpers such as Nothing More and Anchor Me or the acoustically-framed Burn Back The Sun, Decyfer Down makes a bold, authentic and endlessly compelling case that Gods love can truly trump any degree of darkness. CCM Magazine

Decyfer Down does rock, and they do it wellIt's hard to come away from this as a rockhead not having enjoyed it. NewReleaseToday.com

It is truly an out of body experience to listen through this albumwith the deep grungy guitar tones and familiar hard hitting drum beats, and who can forget the one of a kind vocal stylings of TJ Harris, who quite possibly has the best voice in the business10 out 10. Yes, it's that good! Echo Asylum

Not only is Decyfer Down back with full force, but they've cranked it up a notch with monster guitar riffs and killer drum beatsEqually impressive is TJ Harris' dynamic vocal performancesExpect an onslaught of faith-based rock anthems and emotional ballads... JesusFreakHideout.com

Decyfer Down has put a lot of work into the quality and fidelity of these 10 songs that shine a light in a dark valley in all of their listeners lives who need to find that glimmer of hopeThe Other Side of Darkness gets the highest recommendation from Contrast CTRL Contrast CTRL

With gritty guitar, explosive drums, and intense vocals, Decyfer Down's The Other Side Of Darkness shows the struggles of this world and points to the refuge only Jesus Christ can offer. The Christian Beat

Taking the new music from The Other Side Of Darkness, as well as its growing list of fan favorites, on the road, Decyfer Down is traveling heavily in 2016. Already 20 concerts into the massive, 39-date run on the City Rock Fest 2016 tour with Disciple, Seventh Day Slumber, Spoken and Children 18:3 (see remaining itinerary below), this tour follows Decyfer Downs own successful headline tour last fall, as well as 32 packed events on the 2015 winter/spring leg of the City Rock Fest tour.

Ten years plus of doing this has been a crazy trip, but its been awesome, says Harris. After taking time off and going back out, its been great to see some familiar faces and hearing how theyve grown as people and in their relationship with Christ, plus we still hear from people who heard us on mainstream radio and how a song changed their life. Everyones from all different backgrounds and situations, but hopefully were all growing.

We definitely hope people are encouraged and challenged through this record, sums up Mills. We are just enjoying the whole process again.
