Laura Veirs share "Honey and Smoke," a bewitching new track from the forthcoming album 'case/lang/veirs' (June 17/ANTI-). The song features k.d. lang's singular croon with mesmerizing backing vocals from Case and Veirs. This is the third track the supergroup has unveiled from their collaboration that features fourteen new, original songs written by the artists over a period of two-and-a-half years.
Lead single "Atomic Number" garnered raves upon announcement of the album: an "elegant" song (USA Today) deemed an "Essential Track" in LA Times, that was posted everywhere from Pitchfork to Cosmopolitan. Lena Dunham's Lenny Letter premiered the second single "Best Kept Secret."
