New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Post-hardcore quintet Greaver will release their debut full-length The Faun on April 29th via Cardigan Records, but the band has teamed up with
Revolver Magazine to stream it early. The record, which is a Pan's Labyrinth reference, was engineered and mixed by Al Jacob at
Warrior Sound (He Is Legend, A Skylit Drive) and mastered by Jamie King at The Basement Recording (Between the Buried and Me, The Contortionist).
"The concept behind 'The Faun' is a murder story that touches on racial turmoil," says vocalist Michael Rozier. "Leon is one of the album's main characters and is the spirit that is narrates the tracks 'A Poisoned Well' and 'Earth Rune.' Leon's memory acts as 'The Faun' (much like The Faun in Pan's Labyrinth), guiding every decision that
Morgan (The female main character) makes."
