NEW YORK (Sacrilege Studios) - Popular Philadelphia emcee Reef The Lost Cauze, best known for his incredible freestyle abilities, is preparing a new solo album for release on Good Hands/Eastern Conference early in 2005. The new project, Feast Or Famine, follows two successful solo underground releases and a series of specialized collaborative efforts with producers and emcees in the Philadelphia area.
While Reef has been in the studio consistently, he has also been giving the east coast a taste of his incredible stage show with several dates over the past couple of months. On December 14th, Reef will appear at the Lion's Den in New York for "From The Ground Up", a national showcase of emcees hosted by Breez Evaflowin. On December 16th, Reef will appear at the "Cover Your Lover" AIDS benefit at the Five Spot in Philadelphia.
Reef is confident that Feast Or Famine will be appreciated by fans on many levels. "This album is me at the top of my game," he says. "I know who I am as a person, but more importantly as an artist - I feel like a pro this time around. The beats are more sonic, and although the mood is a little darker than my first two projects, the songs have a universal appeal that everyone will be able to relate to."
