LOS ANGELES (DIRRTY RECORDS) - Making headlines around the world for the metal/punk release of Jimi Hendrix Purple Haze, Los Angeles based record label Dirrty Records announced today the signing of one of South America's most influential pure heavy metal bands, Athanator.
"We're very pleased to be working with Athanator," says Dirrty Records CEO Lunden De'Leon. "With their popularity in South America, I'm sure they will be a huge success worldwide."

Having caused quite a rumble in South America, Athanator is an aggressive four piece thrash metal band hailing out of Medellin, Colombia. The band is launching their worldwide tour to support their third album "Earth of Blood" which will be released by Dirrty Records in Spring 2005.
