Donnas' Robertson is 'Guitar Player' Mag Cover Goddess

NEW YORK (Atlantic Records) - Donnas' guitarist Allison Robertson, who rocks hard on their new album GOLD MEDAL, dons the cover of January's Guitar Player magazine.
'...For this record, I was not so much into studying everybody and playing everyone else's songs. I didn't think about things too hard. I just listened to a lot of music, blanked out, and wrote whatever came to mind,' says Robertson in the interview.

It certainly worked - GOLD MEDAL has received critical acclaim, and the Donnas agree it's a landmark album for them. 'It really is a cliche,' says Robertson, 'but I definitely think this record is The Donnas growing up. It's totally natural - we just weren't limiting ourselves in any way.'
