Newcomer Blues Artist Jesse Kramer Added To Uncle Dave Macon Days Kick-Off Concert
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Uncle Dave Macon Days Music & Arts Festival is proud to announce they have added Blues artist Jesse Kramer to the Kick-Off Party on July 7. The event will take place at Main St. Music, 527 Main St. in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out will headline the concert that will also include a performance by The Glade City Rounders. Tickets are $15 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show begins at 7:15 pm.

Jesse Kramer, the talented 19-year-old Indianapolis native, is quite the old soul. Unlike the millennials of his generation, Jesse has a deep affection for the Mississippi Delta sounds of the blues. Take that soulful sound and combine it with his influence from two of his modern day heroes, Amos Lee and Chris Stapleton, and fans are immediately drawn in. Not only is he a compelling vocalist, he is equally gifted as a songwriter with a unique ability to write songs far beyond his 19 years of experience in life. Unique in every aspect of his being, fans across the world will soon fall in love with the endless gifts of Jesse Kramer.

Jesse made his on-air live performance debut this week on WGNS Radio that immediately earned him the respect of host Scott Walker. "Man he has talent. I think we will see his name in lights soon!"

Before the Kick-Off concert gets underway July 7, an attempt of setting the Guinness Book of World Record for the World's Largest Square Dance at 6:00 pm on the Public Square in Murfreesboro. The Hog Slop String Band and the America's Square Dance Band will perform. Marcia Campbell from Grand Ole Opry Dancers and WSM 650 will also be in attendance. The "square dance" is the official dance of the state of Tennessee and the event organizers hope to break the record previously set by the state of Illinois. Uncle Dave Macon Days Music and Arts Festival will take place July 7-9 and include performances by Lonesome River Band, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, The Grascals, The Boxcars, The Church Sisters, Flatt Lonesome and more. The event is also well-known for their national championships in old-time banjo, clogging and buck dancing along with an arts and crafts show, parade, historic demonstrations, live music and children's activities. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Eventbrite or at the gate. Prices are $10/day for Adults, free for children 12 and under and $5 for Seniors.
