(EMS Records). The CD showcases the extraordinary work of Gilby Clarke (Guns N' Roses), eight-time Grammy nominated The Avila Brothers and Nashville A-list musician Nioshi Jackson (Trisha Yearwood/Rodney Crowell/
Laura Bell Bundy)�all of whom lent their talents to produce the project.
Lined with catchy �sound bites of life� that reveal varied emotions complemented by 70s vibe instrumentation, ALWAYS YOU AND ME features Smith�s debut radio single [�Little Bit Of Us� which climbed to the top-40 on the charts (Music Row)] and highlights a collection of Mike Smith originalsouching on everyday happenings (the ups and downs, the good and bad) in the title track, self-proclaimed individuality in the rockin� �I Am What I Am,� and true love with simplistic lyrics and a contemporary groove in �Sweet My Lady Be,� Smith strikes a chord with every note.
�I play on every song on the album �some guitar, some bass, some piano. But, what I truly enjoyed about the recording process was stepping back to watch the amazing musicians do incredible things with the songs that I wrote,� said

Smith, who has lent his hand to pen numerous songs for notable recording artists, enters the country music sector as a �coming home.� His music translation infuses a well-rounded mix of �greats��a meld of Glen Campbell, Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson, Cat Stevens, Jim Croce and Jimi Hendrix.
Smith made early introductions to country radio and its fans in March 2016 with his debut single entitled �Little Bit Of Us� (co-produced by Gilby Clarke and The Avila Brothers). He will follow with his sophomore release, entitled �Green-Eyed Girl� (produced by Nioshi Jackson), which is scheduled for a
July 18, 2016 impact.
