New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Manchester thrash-punks Revenge of the Psychotronic Man (RPM) have just revealed the video for I Wanna Be A Spaceman, the latest track to be taken from their critically acclaimed third full-length album, the Alan Partridge homaging Colossal Velocity, out now on TNSrecords.

Forever true to their staunch, politically-motivated roots, the band quote NASA astronaut and Apollo 14 crew member Edgar Dean "Ed" Mitchell in the tracks liner notes for the new album: [From space] you develop an instant global consciousness, a people orientation, an intense dissatisfaction with the state of the world, and a compulsion to do something about it. From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, Look at that, you son of a bitch.

The live footage from the video was shot by Mark Richards and Julian Wallinger at Manchester Punk Festival 2016, with bassist Andy Davies being part of the collective that organises the annual event.

RPM have been winning more and more fans right across the underground UK punk scene with their latest album, a 17 track monster crammed full of the kind of socially aware, witty and intelligent punk rock that theyve been peddling since their inception, but now more finely honed and crafted into a biting, full-throttle assault thats been rightly showered with critical praise.

The band appear at the UK punk rock Mecca of Rebellion Festival this August as part of a huge string of 2016 UK headline dates.
Colossal Velocity is out now on TNSrecords
